And for the children (or the young at heart), The Little Laine<\/strong> is a charming toy shop with wooden puzzles, dolls, and books you won\u2019t find at Smyths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to Go and How to Do It Like a Local<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The North Laine is busiest on Saturdays, especially during summer and the Brighton Festival in May. If you want a quieter experience, aim for a weekday morning \u2013 Tuesday or Wednesday is ideal. Many shops open around 10am and close by 6pm. Sundays are shorter hours (11am\u20135pm), but still lively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
