Due to Brighton being an old Victorian city and while improving on being inclusive and diverse for everyone - a lot of properties are not set up for todays living styles of being inclusive and diverse. Here at My Getaways will always try and help accomodate all our guests as best as possible - if you have any questions about access or facilities in our properties - please do get in touch  - We can also try and help direct you to a suitable providor if we can not help accomodate you.

The council are working hard to make Brighton less dependant on cars and to help with imporving the enviroment for everyone - as such parking can be challenging and expensive - please see the councils website for further information

National rail - 

  • Southern Railway's new trains have ramps for wheelchair access, designated accessible spaces in some cars, and an accessible WC, as well as colour schemes and visual & audible announcements that are helpful to people with a sensory disability. 
  • Southern Railway also offers advice on the accessibility of stations and help on and off trains. Please note, if you require assistance you will need to book this at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Accessible taxis can also be made available at no cost on Southern routes to take passengers with disabilities from stations which are not accessible to stations that are.
