Hastings Vibe is a three-bedroom apartment set above historic George Street, right in the heart of Hastings Old Town. Sleeping up to six guests, it’s a great base for families and groups who want to explore the town on foot, with independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants just outside and the beach a short walk away.

Located on the second floor, the apartment has a simple, practical layout, with the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and lounge arranged around a central hallway. The lounge offers a comfortable place to put your feet up after a day exploring, while the separate eat-in kitchen gives everyone space to gather over meals. There are three bedrooms to suit different group arrangements: one with a king-size bed, one with a double bed, and one with bunk beds. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, and the apartment also has a Smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi.

George Street is a lively part of Hastings, with plenty happening throughout the day and into the evening. Some street noise may be heard, particularly at night, so this is a good choice for guests who want to be in the middle of the action rather than tucked away somewhere quiet.

PROPERTY LAYOUT

Hastings Vibe is a second-floor apartment accessed through a communal entrance. There are approximately 14 stairs to the apartment door, followed by a further 17 stairs to the main living areas. There is no lift. Once inside, the apartment is arranged over one floor, with three bedrooms, a bathroom, an eat-in kitchen and a separate lounge leading off the central hallway.

KITCHEN / LIVING AREA

The separate lounge has sofas and a Smart TV, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day exploring Hastings. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment to stream your favourite shows through the free Wi-Fi provided by logging into your own Netflix or Prime account (log in with your own details). The fully equipped kitchen has a dining table and is equipped for self-catering, with a washing machine, an electric cooker and oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all essential cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery, making it easy to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed group brunch. Complimentary tea and coffee, along with salt and pepper, are provided for your convenience, so please help yourself.

ABOUT THE AREA:

Hastings Old Town is one of the most characterful parts of the Sussex coast, known for its historic streets, independent shops, traditional pubs, cafés and restaurants. George Street puts you right in the middle of it all, making it easy to explore without needing to drive everywhere. The beach and historic seafront are within easy walking distance, along with Hastings Castle and the Stade, home to the town’s traditional fishing quarter. Hastings Pier is also worth a visit for coastal views and a stroll along the seafront.

For a day out beyond Hastings, the historic town of Battle and the cobbled streets of Rye offer more of Sussex’s heritage and charm.

Our Guest Promise

• We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time!

Check-In

• We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid.

Damage Deposit

• We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost.

Smoking

• To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available.

Noise

• To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!)

• Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group.

• Please note that call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee.

Pets

• This property is not pet-friendly.

Check-Out

• Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.

• Before You Leave and as a consideration to future guests, please:

• Wash up the used dishes.

• Bag rubbish and use the correct recycling bins.

• Return keys to the key safe (OR) Keynest location.

• Switch off the lights.

• Close all windows.

• Turn down the heating.

• These steps help us prepare for the next guests and save energy; every little bit counts.

Age Policy

• The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. If unsure, please contact us before booking please.

A Quick Note on Deposits and Property Care

• If any of the above guidelines aren’t followed, we may need to make deductions from your deposit to cover additional cleaning or damages. We hope that’s never necessary!
