KITCHEN/ LIVING AREA
On the first floor, you are welcomed into a bright open-plan living, kitchen and dining space, filled with natural light from large period windows. This sociable area includes a comfortable seating space with a coffee table and a wall-mounted 42” Smart TV, where guests can enjoy WiFi and stream their favourite shows and films via platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime (using their own accounts). The Kitchen comes with an oven, a washer, a microwave, plus plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery so you can easily cook up a brunch or lunch for everybody. In addition to this, we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper - so please help yourself.
BATHROOM:
- 1st Floor Bathroom: You will find the family bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and toilet.
- Fresh towels provided for each guest.
BEDROOMS - SECOND FLOOR
Heading up the spiral staircase, you reach the second floor, where two comfortable bedrooms are located.
- Bedroom 1 - Two single beds and a bunk bed, along with a wardrobe and chest of drawers, offering plenty of space for guests to settle in, sleeps 4
- Bedroom 2 - Two single beds that can be arranged as a zip-and-link super king on request, sleeps 2
- Velux window fitted with blackout blinds to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
- All beds are made up for your arrival with all linen, bedding and towels provided, sufficient for the number of guests in your group.
Please note: Due to the central location above busy Sydney Street, guests should expect noise from the surrounding cafés, live music and nightlife - this is part of the authentic North Laine experience and is not suitable for large stag parties due to the quiet residential building.
Due to the spiral staircase case, this property is not wheelchair or limited mobility accessible and not recommended for toddlers or young children under 4 years old.
Parking
We offer one complimentary private parking space at the parking garage located at Portland Street, Brighton BN1 1RQ, which is a 10-minute drive away - one free parking space (4.70m long (to the curb) and 2.24m wide). Vans are not allowed in the car park. However, there are Several car parks located within a few minutes' walk of the property.

It’s a cultural and shopping hotspot, known for vintage clothing, antiques, street art and one of the most diverse food scenes on the South Coast. Brighton Station is just minutes away on foot, making arrivals easy and London day trips simple. The seafront, The Lanes and Brighton Pier are all within walking distance.

I booked it for my family, and knowing Brighton, it was one of the better places to be in the city. Accessing the transport was easy, and the house was clean, well-kept, with ample cutlery, tea and coffee packs. It had a relaxing atmosphere and, despite it being central, was quite quiet and offered enough privacy for 5 of us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Majestic Mews! The location was superb — tucked away in a quiet gated mews but just a short walk from the vibrant North Laine with its independent cafés, bars and boutiques, making exploring Brighton so easy. The apartment was spotless, bright and super comfortable, with a spacious open‑plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen that made us feel right at home. Free parking nearby was such a bonus in this central spot, and the flexible sleeping arrangements meant our group of six had plenty of space. It was the perfect base for our Brighton break, and we’d happily return!

Our Guest Promise

We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time!
Check-In

We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid.
Damage Deposit

We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost.
Smoking

To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available.
Noise

To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!)

Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group.

This Property is pet-friendly. An additional £95 after pet stay, hypoallergenic cleaning fee applies per stay. Please notify us in advance what type of pet you are travelling with, so arrangements can be made.

A maximum of 1 dog is allowed unless prior permission has been granted.

Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture to keep the home clean for everyone.

Only housetrained dogs are accepted (no puppies).

Dogs must not be left unattended in the house.

Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.

The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. If unsure, please contact us before booking please.
A Quick Note on Deposits and Property Care

If any of the above guidelines aren’t followed, we may need to make deductions from your deposit to cover additional cleaning or damages. We hope that’s never necessary!

My Getaways is committed to our owners so their properties are protected during bookings, therefore a damages deposit is required before check-in. You can opt to pay a non-refundable My Cover/Accidental Damage Waiver of £30.00, which covers you for up to £300.00 of accidental damage protection, however, deliberate damage is not covered.
Alternatively, you can opt to pre-authorise your credit/debit card for the full damages deposit of £300.00, this pre-authorisation will expire after 7 days If no deductions are to be made for damages. You will be sent a link to pay for My Cover accidental damages waiver fee OR pre-authorise your credit card for the full damages deposit of £300.00 on the day before check-in. Once this payment or pre-authorisation has been made we will release check-in instructions on the day of arrival.
